Our idea is incredibly simple. With just three types of monitors, you can tackle any issue that appears in front of you.
Even more, since you have instant access to logs and data, you can considerably improve the performance of your apps.
We let you monitor your web and software applications, and get instant notifications when an issue occurs. Monitor response codes, keywords, and more - in intervals as small as 30 seconds, for as many as 100 sites.
We specialize in storing logs, and enable you to quickly search and analyze data. For common log formats (like access logs and docker), we let you identify issues such as broken links and large files through a dashboard.
Backups are important. When you store your data on our system, we make sure it's secure, that you get notified if a backup hasn't occurred in a while or if the backup's size or format looks wrong.
We built Watchdog to help ourselves monitor the growing number of applications we were building for various clients. As a successful company founded by engineers with awards from various competitions, we know the importance of getting the right information at the right time, and the power of logs and data in improving applications and identifying potential issues.
You tell us which websites you want checked, and our bots visit and verify your website continuously. Additionally, if you have access to your server, you can send us logs and backups, which we store encrypted in a secure location.
Watch how things perform from your desktop, mobile or tablet. Get notified by email or Slack.
Our application enables you to monitor all of your servers, at a competitive price.
With servers in more than 15 locations, we are able to fulfil even the toughest requirements.
Are you a developer with little (or no) DevOps experience? Our app is built for you, and will let you setup monitoring in no time!
We know that security is important. Our data is stored in datacenters with the widely recognized ISO 27001 standard.
Everyone needs help at a certain point. We provide email support with an average response time of 2 hours for all paying customers.

"Your platform offers a ton of features, and we like the fact that there are no retention periods or other hidden limitations."
"I was able to setup multiple monitors in less than an hour, with notifications and everything. If you use Apache or Nginx, you're good to go."
"With Watchdog, I can monitor all websites that I build for clients, and respond instantly to anything that goes wrong - even before the clients know about it."
"Having access to application logs helps developers tremendously. DevOps don't have to share access to production servers, and engineers can now investigate and fix issues on their own."
Watchdog is a SaaS solution for monitoring application uptime, server stats, and analyzing logs. It aims to unify the metrics needed to understand how your servers and apps are performing. Watchdog is a managed service, so you don't need any additional hardware or software to start using it.
Absolutely not, there are no such requirements. Watchdog works with any server, as long as it is reachable from the Internet - for example, you can have a Dedicated server on AWS, a Virtual Private Server from DigitalOcean, or anything else. There are no hidden provider or network limitations.
As secure as it can be. We know security is important, so we do everything possible to make sure a problem doesn't occur. Two-factor authentication, hashing of passwords, encrypting files and storing data with providers that have an ISO certificate are just some of the things we watch out for.
Yes, you can actually group users into teams and give them access to certain monitors. You can also determine which users get specific notifications - for example, if a website goes down, you may like to send an email to just one team (the developers responsible for that site).
Watchdog supports any modern browser, including the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Mobile phones and tablets are also supported. We test our site regularly and have a procedure in place for making sure everything works as expected.
We tried to make our platform as easy to use as possible, so you can use basic HTTP methods to send data. There are also instructions for setting everything up in the application's dashboard - i.e. the website will lead you through the process.
